I do! I will post about my mini sessions on my Facebook and Instagram. Normally, I try to do one in the spring, one studio session for Mother’s Day, and one in the fall. My spring and fall minis are at (can you guess?!) Prairie Grove Battlefield Park.

How do I book?

My booking process is very simple!

I have a booking site called Sessions. This site allows you to book your own date based off of my calendar availability.

There, you will:

1. Find my session types

2. See my calendar and available dates

3. Be able to select a date of your choice

4. Pay securely and sign contracts

*Please note: my calendar dates and times listed are subject to change at any time, honestly because sometimes I forget to block out a date that I am not available! Once you book your session, you will receive a confirmation email or text personally from me confirming the time and date you chose. If I, for any reason, am unable to fulfill that date request, I will work with you to choose another date close to the one that you requested. Thank you for your understanding!

What is included in the session fee?

Each session is different and has different criteria, so please ask me specifically, however, ALL sessions include:

1. Edited photos with NO photo limit. I do not limit the photos that I give back. You can expect to receive 50-100 photos, sometimes more!

   (Mini sessions yield 25-60)

2. An online album with high resolution download

3. A print release

I do require a retainer on ALL services.

What should we wear for our session?

I recommend wearing neutral colors that coordinate. Bright colors or patterns tend to be too busy. Feel free to text me or email me your options if you need help deciding!

Classic Neutrals: cream, black, beige, gray

Earthy Neutrals: tan, taupe, olive, soft browns, burnt orange

Cool Neutral: soft blue, sage, stone

What time of day is best for natural light photography?

I usually only shoot at sunrise, or close to it, or 1 hour before sunset. These are the two golden times of the day. I prefer overcast but hey, I can’t control that!

How long does a typical session last?

1 hour but I am known to go over to make sure I get the BEST!

Can we bring props or pets to the session?

Absolutely! Just please know that I may not use everything that you bring & pets can be difficult sometimes. I prefer pets to be in some of the photos and then we can put them in the vehicles for some without them.

How many photos will I receive?

I do not put a limit on what you will receive. If it is a good photo, you will receive it! You can expect 50-100 photos from a 1 hour session and 25-60 from a mini session. *I cannot guarantee these amounts, but this is the average!

How long does it take to get the final images?

My turnaround time is UP TO 2 weeks. I really try to get them done and in your inbox before then, but I also have 4 kids haha so please bear with me. I will communicate any changes or extensions!

Will the photos be edited?

Believe it or not, people ask me this all the time! YES I will edit your photos. I could not imagine giving you RAW images and expecting you to edit them. You will receive your photos via an online gallery and they will be beautiful and edited.

Do you offer prints or albums?

I DO! I offer them as an add on. Please ask me for pricing because third party sites that I use are constantly changing their pricing so I do not have this set.

Do you travel for sessions?

I typically do not. I like to shoot at Prairie Grove Battlefield Park. I KNOW this place. I love this place. If you are not partial, we will go there. But I AM open to shooting elsewhere, please ask me. I typically do not travel outside of NWA, but I will if you ask nicely LOL.

What happens if the weather is bad on our session day?

I will attempt to reschedule. I keep an eye on weather. I do not mind overcast. I actually prefer it. So if it is not actively raining, we are on! I have also shot in 32 degree weather. If you don’t want to do that, I don’t either haha so we will communicate about any changes that need to happen! Your retainer fee is transferrable due to rain/bad weather.

Can we share our photos on social media?

PLEASE DO! I get so much business from word of mouth. Just please tag me @hedgesphotos on Facebook and Instagram.

Do you photograph events or large groups?

I do! I have photographed many events, grandma’s birthday, engagement parties, etc. I am willing to shoot just about anything!

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes I do! Click HERE to view and purchase gift cards. Gift cards are good for partial or total sessions. They expire after 1 year.
